Wushuang Yang is doing well these days. She had  a surgery on her feet on July 17.  She is wearing a special instruments on her feet and the nurses will fix the scale gradually. It takes five or six weeks to correct her feet. She will try to practice how to walk at the end of this month. Now she is familiar with the therapy, the procedure of dressing change and bath and the nurses. She improved much. 

Lijia Wang has not any surgery in the following weeks. Last month she had a surgery on her back because part of her donor sites didn't heal well. I saw her last week in the hospital. She was here for her appointment. I heard from her host family that she likes to play with the host brother and sister.

Although she forgets Chinese and doesn't understand and speak English, the kids have their own special  'language' to communicate with each other. The kids always learn quickly.
