Working with teachers and staff
for more effective literacy instruction |
"Literacy belongs to every child in every country."
That is the mission of the Belize Education Project (belizeeducationprojectorg). Please join Airline Ambassadors and the Belize Education Project in trips that will make the difference of a lifetime for a child.
Spread the word and be a part of the change!
In 2007, a group of teachers, doctors and nurses from the United States began trips to Eden Primary School in San Ignacio, Belize. There were no books in the classroom. Since that first visit, over 3000 books and classroom supplies have been delivered to the school. We will continue this support during the AAI / Belize Education Project mission.
|
Students with new books at recess |
This trip will focus on continued teacher development and sending the school tools to make their literacy instruction a success. This includes sending books, school supplies and classroom resources. The itinerary photos, below, will show you the difference made, in one year, in the classrooms.
The mission continues. We invite you to share your gifts and your heart with the children of Eden Primary School. Join us and make a difference...for the children and for you as well!
