El Salvador Christmas Trip At-A-Glance
Day 1:
December 13, 2008
Arrival in San Salvador and transport to
the Olympic Village. Enjoy the Olympic
size swimming pool and the beauty of
the volcanos.
Welcome dinner in the evening with
AAI El Salvador Liaison, Cesar Calderon. |
Day 2:
December 14, 2008
Join the President and the First Lady of El Salvador and the
Secretaria Nacional de la Familia for Navidad en Familia, in a
festive celebration for 50,000 children from San Salvador.
The Parque de la familia in San Salvador will be transformed
into a wonderland of Christmas Fun and
AAI Volunteer Elves will be assigned to help with various
activities such as gift giving, games, amusement rides with
children, pinadas, …

Day 3:
December 15, 2008
Travel one hour to the picturesque village
of Illabasco to hand deliver personal gifts to
children. Volunteers are encouraged to bring
toys from home and will have the chance to
see the faces of grateful children light with
joy.
Join a farewell dinner with friends.

Day 4:
December 16, 2008
Transport to the Airport and depart.
