After breakfast, the guests will meet at a central place for a farewell session, thereafter depart for Maasai Mara to arrive in time for a late lunch. Evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Basecamp Explorer camp.
Maasai Mara National reserve offers an absolutely unique variety of animals. Reason?

This hilly region which is both humid and fertile, is covered by rivers Mara and Talek. They are full of crocodiles and hippos and carry water the whole year round. The banks of the rivers are covered in thick forests, which gradually make way for bush and grassland. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are reasons why Maasai Mara which is the continuation of the Serengeti eco-system, has the greatest population of wildlife in all of Africa.
One may see the big 5 and several other mammals and bird species. There’s a particularly dramatic ‘spectacle’ from July to October of each year – the annual wildebeests migration from the Serengeti towards the Mara in search of greener pastures crossing the Mara river as the crocodiles, hyenas and lions lay in wait for their ‘kill’. Recently, this marvelous event was declared the 7th wonder of the world. |
Day 5 -7:

Early morning game drive, then return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, guests will visit Basecamp Explorer community projects on availability.

Return to the camp for lunch and afternoon leisure, embark on an
