HAITI:
Haiti is an independent Caribbean country which shares the island of Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic . The Country gained its independence from the French in the year 1804. The popular language there is Haitian Creole. French is the official language.
Many Haitians speak Spanish or English.

Haiti is a very poor country, perhaps the poorest in this hemisphere. That is not because the land is poor of natural resources, it is rather because of poor management of these resources. Except for the recent upheavals by thugs or people whom they exploit, Haiti is normally very quiet, and the people there are very pleasant. They are very hospitable.
The land itself is truly beautiful. The mountains are gorgeous, the sea is sparkling blue and they furnish a magnificent view of tropical nature, which you cannot find anywhere else.

SECURITY
There have been some security concerns about Haiti recently. This is due to some uprisings caused by the food shortage in the country. There has been a relative calm since. We do intend to provide some security assistance on the ground there. We are hoping to get some security assistance from the government, and from our local people there if needs be.
Please contact us anytime if you need additional information.
