Mission Coordinator Training

Airline Ambassadors International is pleased to offer a training session for members interested in learning

how to lead a mission trip.  The session is free of charge, lunch provided, but those attending will have to cover

their own travel and hotel expenses to attend. AAI is looking for individuals who have the following qualities:

*  Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

*  Outstanding organizational skills.

*  Good public relations, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

*  Respect for individuals of many different cultures.

*  Willing to learn and share knowledge about the selected region and customs of the native populations.

*  People who love to work with children and families in need of support.

*  Post secondary education is an asset and/or experience in a variety of areas such as

(arts, sports, education, international relations, business, public health etc.)

  

PROPOSED AGENDA

9:00    Introductions, meeting and greeting each other (Jadine).

9:15    Powerpoint presentation outlining AAI’s goals and objectives  for 2009,

            accomplishments to date and plans for the future (Nancy Rivard),

            Columbia NGO update and overview (Andy Valenzuela).

10:00   Missions currently available and benefits of being a Mission Coordinator

10:45   Break

11:00   First training activity  (Sharon, Darla, Jadine).

12:00   Lunch

1:00     Second training activity (Sharon, Darla, Jadine)

2:00     Questions and feedback (Sharon and Darla)

2:30     Break

2:45     Kintera    (Nancy)

Airline Ambassadors International is committed to leading humanitarian missions that deliver aid to

each child or family in need. These missions are transforming and your contributions make a

huge difference in the lives of everyone you touch. In an effort to provide enriching experiences for all

participants on the trip, we want to ensure that our coordinators have the best skills to facilitate

the experience. Therefore, we ask that you complete the following to confirm your attendance.

Please write a brief description of why you would like to be a mission coordinator and what

Once we have received the above info, we will give a final confirmation of your attendance on July 28th. 


To reserve a hotel room, please call the Miami Marriott Dadeland Hotel directly in Miami directly (800-503-0498).
Tell them you are with Airline Ambassadors.  They will give you the discounted rate of ($87.00 plus taxes).
AAI will not be able to cover any travel and hotel expenses.
