Call To Action
Mexico:
Airline Ambassadors' Adopted Project in Mexico,
Casa de Paz,
Needs Hot, Healthy Water for Food and Bathing

Casa de Paz is one of
the largest orphanages
south of
Ensenada, Mexico, with
more than 75 children,
10 of them with
special needs.
Through recent economic challenges, they have lost the financial
support and rely totally on donations from the states and charitable organizations. They recently have been neglected because of issues such as gas prices, the falling value of the dollar, passport
requirements and the escalating violence in Tijuana. An immediate
need is to keep their propane gas from being turned off because of
delinquency in payment.
Without propane they will no longer be able to cook the children's food or bathe.
AAI Mexico Mission Coordinator, Becky Gahman, reports about the December trip in Stories From The Field.
You can help by donating to our Emergency Fund for "Casa de Paz".

Dec. 19, 2008 -- Charity Flight to Haiti -- $1M in aid delivered!

This event went off
without a hitch. Many
thanks to William
Dise and George
Hazy, Gen. Manager for
American Airlines in
Miami.
American lent us an
A-300 aircraft - and Ruth
Matranga, our Miami
Director, coordinated a
crew of 11 volunteers
(pilots and flight
attendants).
The cargo hold was filled and we stuffed every overhead bin with aid.
FourTV crews also joined the flight.
Many thanks to Leslie Sosnowski who paid for most of the fuel via a
donation to Airline Ambassadors.

Our success for this mission was due particularly to
American Airlines and we never could have
accomplished so much without this spectacular
support -- largely to you, Frank Campagna!
Thank you!
