Call To Action

Haiti - Distress Calls Continue...AAI Relief is on-going!

Immediate Needs:  Food, Water Purification, Medicine -- delivered!

Haiti Update:

Thanks to our members'

generous donations, AAI's

assessment teams will be

delivering food donated by

the Rice Patty Foundation,

medicine, and a means for

water purification the

week of Nov. 18.   More

vital supplies will flow into

both the Port-au-Prince

area and Port-de-Paix December 2.  These trips will

assess future needs and target areas hardest hit.

Thanks to CAN-DO.org,

these assessment trips

will be videotaped.  AAI will

post videos showing the

Haiti situation and

documenting the aid

distribution that you made

possible.

We can't stop now.

The distress calls continue.  AAI established the Haiti Fund and we will continue to collect donations and we will continue to show you the work that you have accomplished.  We need your help to help Haiti.

Please visit our site, select the Donate Button, and indicate:

"Haiti Relief Effort" in the memo section.

Next year,  AAI will have on-going trips for our members to join...if

you are ready for a hard-working, trip-of-a-lifetime, watch for

those dates...coming soon!

Thank you for your support and continued generosity to our

friends in Haiti!

The 2008 Compassion Ball Honors Those Who Bring

Compassion into Action

The 2008 Compassion Ball

was a tremendous

success!

The gala featured inspiring

words of hope and change,

moving performances,

silent auctions, and the

opportunity to meet and

share stories about the

joys and hurdles in

humanitarian responses to

global crisis and issues.

Visit our site to have a glimpse into

the story and photos of the

2008 Compassion Ball.

Thank you to our sponsors and

supporters for your generosity and

your dedication to global efforts for

change and action...and, thank you to all of our members for making

the Global Compassion Ball and our

day-to-day missions possible.

We could not do it without you!

Featured Trip

Cameroon!  November Trip is just the beginning!

West Africa!

This trip will break ground

for the dreams of projects

to come. You will have the

opportunity to meet and play

with orphaned children in

Cameroon, visit with

abandonned children in

childcare programs and

schools and help with

donations and building a

future for these needy kids.

The adventure will touch

your heart and change

your life!

Reverend Sone Charles

invites you to join him as

he begins his plans to

establish a school,

vocational center,

and a clinic -- and as he

helps these families and

children now!

The Cameroon Journal,

provided by Michael

Reynen, will tell you more

about what to expect.  Visit the Cameroon Brochure to review your itinerary.  If you have any

questions about the November

Trip or want to plan for a future

Cameroon Mission,

please contact our

coordinator:  Reverend Sone Charles at: charlessone@yahoo.com

Bravo to:

Robin Schmidt, Delta Airlines Flight Attendant!

Robin volunteers for our missions to South Africa...and doesn't stop there!

Every year, Robin Schmidt

'adopts' American soldiers

who are on deployment in

Iraq,  Afghanistan, and

other parts of the globe.

The troops have explained

to her over and over again,

the importance of

receiving mail to help them

cope with the time away from their loved ones back

home.

In an effort to uplift spirits

and boost morale over the holidays, join Robin's 'Mail Call' for the

2-7 Cav (known as Ghost Battalion)!

Visit the Donate to a Project Page to support Robin's project.

The troops may not be Home for the Holidays, but Robin is sending them the next best thing!

Bravo, Robin!

Children's Escort Volunteers

Terri Bobbitt, American Airlines Flight Attendant, Reports:

Marcdaile home to Haiti from

Atlanta!

"The big pink fluffy dress with

black velvet was a trick! She

wanted to wear her pretty

dress so others would think

she is a Cinderella....but

hidden underneath it....her

track shoes. Meet Marcdaile

St. Victor...and not very much

slows this little 3 year old

charmer down."

Please enjoy Terri's story...
