Call to Action - eCampaign for Haiti -Hurricane Ike Fuels Already Critical Food ShortageA Report from our Mission Coordinator in Haiti began, "I just stopped and prayed and cried a couple of times in front of some of cribs and next to those tiny corpses all wrapped up in the chapel. I can't tell you how sad it was to see the children at the hospital. I saw three wrapped corpses and kids very close to death. Others were so undernourished their limbs were like fragile thin sticks with no meat on them. Some babies born with birth defects were abandoned at the hospital's gate. Can't get these images out of my head and I start crying whenever I think of it. It was emotionally overwhelming." Airline Ambassadors is delivering critical relief supplies to Haiti now. Tremendous thanks to MAP International for providing medicine and supplies valued at $109,000.00! The need for water filters, food, and more medical supplies is crucial at this time.
