Featured Trip
Nicaragua
Please join Airline Ambassadors and
Flutemaker Ministries in a humanitarian
mission to Nicaragua. We will launch
projects to help orphaned and
abandoned children in the area of
Somoto named "The Kids of Cascabel". The "Kids of Cascabel Project" supports
Pastor Carlos Baez who found 18
children at the Somoto garbage dump
and rescued them.
Having no resources to sustain them, Pastor Carlos linked up with Erik the Flutemaker, whom he met in 2006.
Erik, his friends, and his family began to
help feed, clothe and educate these
children now known as the Kids of
Cascabel. Today, Pastor Carlos and his
wife, Lorena, and a small group of
helpers have expanded their care to
include 31 children who receive food, clothing, education and medical care
through donations provided through the
supporters of the Kids of Cascabel.
Join us in providing nutrition, clothing,
housing and education for children who
have no chance of escaping their dire
circumstances without the assistance of
those outside their community.

To Cambodia Mission Coordinator and
Hawaii Regional Director, Deborah Quigley
On October 9, an Airline Ambassadors'
team of eight arrived in Phnom Penh,
Cambodia. Led by Mission Coordinator,
Deborah Quigley, the group began a
journey that would change their lives,
and the lives of those they touched,
forever.
Days were filled with visiting orphans
and vulnerable children at the Future Light Orphanage, the Cambodian Children's Fund, the New Hope Cambodia's Community Centre, and the ACODO orphanage. Volunteers explored poverty-stricken villages and walked hand-in-hand, singing, with school children.
With Deborah as guide and trusted
leader, the group did not miss a single
site or fabulous experience in
Cambodia. As she explains, "Your time
in Siem Reap is not complete until you've
enjoyed the colorful bustling of a
morning in the floating villages on the
largest lake in SE Asia: floating markets,
floating schools, a floating church, floating homes, even a pig or 2 on
floating rafts. Quite a sight."
If you think you may like visiting beautiful,
colorful temples, sharing your heart with
needy children, and perhaps, even
practicing yoga before breakfast, watch for our next Cambodia Trip.
Deborah, thank you for taking our
volunteers on the trip of a lifetime!
